TAS Universal Vortex Flow Meter

Main uses and application areas:
Can be used to measure general gases and liquids such as saturated steam, superheated steam, compressed air, water, etc.
Suitable for measuring steam, gas, and liquid flow rates in places such as thermal power plant steam supply companies, papermaking, printing and dyeing, textiles, chemical fibers, metallurgy, petrochemicals, mining, steel, oil fields, pharmaceuticals, biology, food, fine chemicals, schools, and scientific research.

2. LVS Vortex Street Small Diameter Type
Main purpose and characteristics
Can be used to measure fluid flow in small pipelines, such as small steam flow, small gas flow, and small clean liquid flow in pipelines. The characteristics are as follows:
*The diameter of the flow meter can range from DN6 to DN15;
*The minimum flow rate for measuring liquid is 0.5 m/s, and the minimum flow rate corresponding to the smallest aperture is 50l/h (0.84l/min);
*The minimum flow rate for measuring gas is 5m/s, and the minimum flow rate corresponding to the smallest diameter is 0.5m3/h (8.4l/min);
*The connection methods with process pipelines can include threads, clamps, oil tankers, rubber hoses, flanges, and other connections.

3. LVS Vortex Street Large Diameter Type
Main purpose and characteristics
Can be used to measure fluid flow in pipelines with a diameter greater than ND300, such as saturated steam flow, superheated steam flow, common gas and liquid flow in pipelines, etc. The characteristics are as follows:
*The diameter of the flow meter can range from DN350 to DN600;
*The maximum flow rate of the measured liquid is 5 m/s, and the maximum flow rate corresponding to the maximum aperture is 5100m3/h;
*The maximum flow rate of the measured gas is 50m/s, and the maximum flow rate corresponding to the maximum diameter is 51000m3/h;
*The connection method with the process pipeline can be selected from flange clamping and flange connection.

4. LVS vortex street reduced diameter type
Main purpose and characteristics
It can be used to measure fluid flow in pipelines with "large diameter, small flow rate" or "large diameter, low flow rate", turning difficult measurements into normal measurements, such as small steam flow rate, small gas flow rate, and small clean liquid flow rate in pipelines. The characteristics are as follows:
*The diameter of the flowmeter can be reduced without changing the connection size with the process pipeline, that is, there is no need to make pipe reduction changes;
*After the diameter of the instrument is reduced, it has a certain rectifying effect, and the measurable lower limit flow rate will become lower;
*The minimum flow velocity of the measured liquid is 0.3 m/s, with a range ratio of 10:1;
*The minimum flow velocity for measuring steam and gas is 3m/s, with a range ratio of 10:1;
*In principle, there is no limit to the level of flow meter reduction towards smaller diameters, but the magnitude of pressure loss should be taken into account.

5. LVS Vortex Street Insertion Type
Main purpose and characteristics
It can be installed on new and old large-diameter carbon steel pipelines to measure the flow rates of steam, compressed air, coal gas, natural gas, and other gases and liquids. The characteristics are as follows:

*Install a plug-in flowmeter with a hole size of ¢ 50 on the process pipeline;
*The diameter of the plug-in flowmeter can range from DN150 to DN2000;
*The minimum flow velocity for measuring liquid flow is 0.8 m/s;
*The minimum flow rate for measuring gas flow is 8m/s;
*Connection method with process pipeline: First, drill a hole in the pipeline, then weld a short saddle shaped pipe on the hole, and connect the flange on the instrument to the saddle shaped pipe flange.

6. LVS vortex street explosion-proof type
Main purpose and characteristics
It can be used to measure explosive hazardous gases in explosion-proof class IIB and self ignition temperature group T3-T6. The explosion-proof structure type is explosion-proof.

7. LVS Vortex Street Intelligent Integrated System
1、 Main features
*Integration: Compact structure with high cost-effectiveness
A smart integrated vortex flowmeter consists of four parts: vortex sensor, pressure transmitter, PT100, and flow integrator. One set of smart integrated vortex flowmeter is equivalent to the price of buying the four instruments mentioned above.
*Integration: easy installation
Due to the built-in temperature and pressure sensors, there is no need for external connections, which reduces the installation of pressure transmission and PT100, and eliminates the need for pressure pipes, power lines, and signal leads for pressure transmission and PT100.

On site direct reading of flow data, instantaneous flow and cumulative measurement, as well as direct access to temperature and pressure values.
*Integrated, intelligent
It has temperature and pressure compensation function, and can also output 4-20mA current. It can also choose RS-485 and HART protocols.
2、 Requirements for upstream and downstream straight pipelines
In order to ensure the normal operation of the instrument, there must be a certain length of straight pipeline upstream and downstream of the sensor installation point, which is used to weaken and eliminate the interference vortex caused by the pipeline obstruction, so that the flow tends to be stable. The straight pipeline before and after installation is shown in the following table:
